We consider ourselves clean and design-conscious.

We will never use the following ingredients, amongst others:

  • parabens, phthalates, lead, zinc, petroleum-derived ingredients.

We are proudly local and produced in South Africa.

Our ingredients, materials, and processes are certified to international standards.

All ingredients and materials are of high quality and natural.

Is SENSES sustainable?

We make use of natural and vegan ingredients as we believe in eco-friendly living.

Are the SENSES bath essentials suitable for my skin type?

Our bath essentials use a wide range of natural and vegan ingredients making them versatile and can be used by all skin types, eg. oily, dry, combination, normal, and sensitive.

Who can use SENSES bath essential products?

SENSES bath essentials work for all ages, including teens.

SENSES bath essentials are for both women and men.

Are SENSES products vegan & cruelty-free?

We will never ever test on animals or use animal based ingredients.

We make use of vegan and cruelty-free ingredients.

Are the SENSES bath essentials safe to use during pregnancy?

Our products are pregnancy-safe and we do we always recommend consulting with your healthcare professional for personalized advice before using any essential oils during your pregnancy and make sure to limit your exposure to a safe amount.

Are SENSES bath essentials suitable for sensitive skin?

We make use of ingredients at safe levels that are not meant to irritate.

Please note that if you have overly sensitive skin always patch test first, and discontinue if any irritation occurs.

How should I store SENSES products?

We recommend storing our products in a cool and dry environment, away from direct sunlight, at room temperature.

It is important to avoid exposing the products to extreme hot or
cold temperatures.

How can I place an order?

Can an order be changed once it has been placed?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do so once an order has been placed as SENSES will not be able to make any changes.

Please ensure all is in order before placing any order to avoid this.

Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?

Should you need to cancel your existing order, please contact info@thesensesshop.com as soon as possible for assistance with your request.

Are payments for orders placed on SENSES secure?

Our online store employs a range of robust security measures to ensure your financial information remains safe and your transactions are secure.

We make of use SSL encryption technology to protect your data during the payment process to ensure your information is encrypted and cannot be intercepted by third parties.

And we work with trusted payment processing partners who are PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant. This ensures the highest level of security for online payment transactions

We offer 4 secure payments methods:

How can I redeem a promotional or voucher code?

Each promotional code is subject to specific terms and conditions for their usage.


Here are some general guidelines regarding the use of promotional codes, unless stated otherwise on the specific code:

  • Each code is unique and can be redeemed only once.
  • Only one promo code can be redeemed per order.
  • Only one code can be redeemed per person per promotion or offer.
  • A code must be entered in the code field during the checkout process and cannot be applied to already placed/existing orders.
  • The code discount value will be automatically deducted from the total value of your shopping cart.
  • Codes have expiration dates and cannot be redeemed once they have expired.
  • Expiry dates of the codes cannot be extended.
  • Codes and discounts are not transferable for cash and final as stipulated.

Shipping & Returns

When will I receive my order?

Your order will be delivered to you between 1-5 working days once payment has been received.

Shipping time estimates

- Johannesburg and other main areas: 1 - 3 working days.
- Outside of Gauteng and other outlying areas: 2 - 5 working days.

How much is the shipping fee?

SENSES standard shipping rate is ZAR 100. 

All orders over ZAR 500 are free.

How will my order be delivered?

SENSES works with courier delivery services to deliver your orders to both residential addresses and office locations within South Africa.

Does SENSES ship orders outside of South Africa?

As SENSES is a growing business please understand that at this stage we do not usually ship Outside of South Africa, though we definitely plan on it in the future.

Can I return SENSES products?

SENSES guarantees the quality of its products and if for any reason you are not be happy with your products you can contact SENSES within 7 working days. We will come and collect the products from you free of charge and process a refund.
